IIFT MBA 2026 Admissions Open, Apply Now 

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has officially released its application forms for the 2026 MBA batch. Admissions to the prestigious IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata campuses will now be conducted through CAT 2025 scores. 

Previously, IIFT conducted its own entrance exam, but from recent admission cycles, it has switched exclusively to CAT-based admissions. The application process typically begins in October each year. 

 Key IIFT MBA Programs and Eligibility Criteria 

IIFT currently offers two flagship full-time MBA programs: International Business (IB) and Business Analytics (BA). 

1. MBA in International Business (IB)

 The MBA in International Business (IB) is IIFT’s most reputed and globally recognized program. Eligibility:

• Candidates must hold a 3-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
• Final-year students are also eligible to apply.

Seats & Campuses:

• Total of 240 seats across Delhi and Kolkata campuses.
• While IIFT also has campuses in Kakinada and GIFT City (Gandhinagar), Delhi remains the most preferred choice among aspirants.

Admission Process:

• Based on CAT 2025 scores, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

   2. MBA in Business Analytics (BA) 

Eligibility:The MBA in Business Analytics (BA) program is a relatively new addition, launched in 2023 to cater to the growing demand for analytics professionals.

• Minimum 50% marks in the bachelor’s degree.
• Candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics at the undergraduate level.
• B.E./B.Tech. graduates are also eligible.

Seats & Campus:

• Offered exclusively at the IIFT Delhi campus with 60 seats available.

Admission Process:

• Based on CAT 2025 scores and performance in GDPI rounds.

Academic Considerations:One of the most distinctive features of the IIFT admission process is that 10th and 12th standard marks are not given any weightage.

Selection primarily depends on:

• Graduation score (minimum 50%)
• CAT 2025 percentile

This makes IIFT an excellent opportunity for candidates who may have lower school scores but strong academic consistency in graduation and a high CAT percentile. 

• Last Date to Apply: November 28, 2025
• GDPI Rounds: Expected to start in March 2026, conducted across major cities — Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, and GIFT City.
• Final Results: Expected by April 2026

 IIFT Cutoff and Admission 

Since IIFT focuses primarily on CAT performance, the cutoff percentile tends to be very high. 

Expected Cutoff: Between 98–99 percentile in CAT 2025

• Excel in GDPI: Communication skills, confidence, and current affairs awareness can significantly impact your final selection.
