NMAT exam under the category of “OMET” is an admission test for this college. It is conducted by GMAC, the same body which conducts GMAT. NMAT is a computer-based Test known for its flexibility.NMAT scores are accepted by many B schools in the country other than NMIMS is KJ Somaiya.
Understanding the NMAT exam and syllabus ;
The NMAT exam consists of 3 sections Language skills, Quantitative skills and Logical reasoning.
Familiarising yourself with questions and sectional timings will help you to avoid surprises.
Exam pattern : It is altogether a different exam with no negative marks😁 and an adaptive exam pattern(difficulty levelof the questions altering on the basis of your accuracy).

If you are already preparing for CAT, then you don't have to do anything extra. Get hold of your CAT preparation, NMAT will already be taken care of.
Those who are not preparing for the CAT exam, are advised to note the following points:
★ Maximise your learning by studying exhaustively and practising questions.
⚀ Mocks : This is the final touch for the preparation which will be your must-needed companion.
ℹ︎. Attempting timer-based tests helps you tackle surprises. Allocating required time to each sections in a proper way is very necessary.
♛ DON’T GET INTO TRAP
As it has a non-negative marking system candidates often tempts to get stuck on a particular question wasting time extensively.
Marking it and moving forward will save your time and increase your scores also.
AVOID SILLY MISTAKES
It is generally seen as not “guarding yourself” when the situation is easy, but easy situations lead to blunders {2*3 = 5 }☠️.
Candidates often tend to make a lot of silly mistakes like as simple calculation mistakes, and reading not attentively which ultimately leads to dissatisfaction.
Last but not least try to maximise your score as there is no negative marking keeping time in mind. Get your concepts clear and practise a good amount of questions and more importantly, get familiar with timers and mocks to feel at ease during the paper.
